In 2017, the industrious Bucky Black hauled many pounds of crawfish from the Louisiana bayous, and with Chef Andy Long commenced to boil them up to celebrate the first-ever Mountain Mardi Gras with a group of friends. In 2018, the two merry men did conspire to expand their offerings to a highly succesful special dinner at Over Yonder restaurant, presided over by the first King and Queen of the Mystic Krewe of Lagnaippe in the High Country. The Krewe is excited to bring this taste of Mardi Gras to a wider audience in 2019.
